Activa Ingenieros SL works in multiple areas related to water treatment and management, both drinking and wastewater water and desalination and even industrial facilities. Its approach combines innovation and personalized service, with state-of-the-art equipment, adapted own designs (based on Tecexsa ® technology) and a specialized technical team that will accompany the customer throughout the process. It should be noted that our capacity allows us to develop both the engineering of a complete treatment process and the supply of equipment of our own design to provide solutions to partial processes of said treatment process, mainly pre-treatments and DAF dissolved air flotation systems. Below is a summary description of each of our company’s business areas.
Desalination
Desalination plants convert seawater or brackish water into water suitable for human and industrial consumption.
These facilities are especially needed in water-scarce regions. Activa Ingenieros S.L. has developed its own equipment that has become a world reference in physical-chemical pretreatment.
Designs are made of the complete pretreatment processes and tailor-made equipment is supplied for each installation, working with state-of-the-art technology and paying attention at all times to energy efficiency and adaptation to the specific needs of each customer.
The company offers dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems adapted to desalination, which improve solids separation and reduce the consumption of necessary chemicals.

Urban wastewater
Urban wastewater treatment focuses on removing organic and inorganic pollutants, both dissolved and suspended, to comply with environmental regulations.
Activa Ingenieros S.L. develops customised solutions with guaranteed efficiency in each project. Our company places emphasis on aspects such as the quality of the treated water, compliance with regulations and the use of compact equipment that facilitates installation and maintenance.
Our specialized technical team will be in charge of the sizing, installation and commissioning of the plants, ensuring their optimal operation.
Our own equipment is oriented to physical-chemical treatment, clarification after biological treatment and sludge thickening.
Both equipment that covers the needs of primary and secondary treatment is available, as well as systems that combine flotation and simultaneous filtration for application as tertiary treatment
Industrial Wastewater
Wastewater from industries has a wide variety of contaminants and requires industry-specific solutions.
Below are different industry sectors in which our solutions are applied:

Supply water
The supply area is responsible for drinking water from rivers, wells or other sources for public or industrial supply.
The design and supply of water treatment equipment incorporates state-of-the-art technology adapted to the specific needs of each customer. The combination of flotation, filtration and disinfection translates into energy-efficient and easy-to-operate systems, with a high degree of automation.
The technical team of Activa Ingenieros SL will accompany the customer from the conception to the commissioning and maintenance of the supply plants.
We have a range of solutions, from circular floats, rectangular floats and containerized compact treatment plants.

Industrial design
As a result of the extensive knowledge of the different engineering disciplines and specialties acquired and used in the development of our own equipment, other applications have emerged other than those related to water treatment, in which fully operational and functional solutions have been obtained for our customers.
With this we want to highlight that the know-how specialized in water treatment processes and equipment can be extended to other areas of technology that allow unique solutions to be obtained in other types of applications.
Therefore, it is necessary to highlight that we have the capacity to design custom industrial facilities/equipment, combining our experience in process engineering with the use of design and modeling tools and thus create new robust and efficient equipment.
